M’Hamid to Erg Chigaga Dunes :
Departure From our Guest house DAR MHAMID we drive off-road into Sahara desert by 4wd Landcruiser, starting discovering magical landscape, vast and large desert spaces, rocks, sands, camels and donkey, visiting a nomad family and see how they live. After about an hour drive, we reach an oasis. Here we have our lunch in the shade from the palm trees *(this option for who chose morning departure). Then your desert trip continue to the dunes of Erg Chegaga through the different desert landscapes until we arrive to our desert camp located in the beautiful sand dunes, enjoy the sunset over the sand dunes of Sahara desert, Dinner and night in the camp in the heart of the dunes, in a tent or sleeping under the stars.
Erg Chigaga Duns Back to M’Hamid
In the morning have breakfast, among the dunes in a beautiful view, away from the noise of the city, and we drive back to Mhamid through the desert landscape, then enjoy another time for the beautiful landscapes this time in the morning, we will stops for pictures if we meet the wild donkey or the desert gazelle, even we will stops in a place where we can collecting fossil stones, then we will continued our adventure back until we arrive Mhamid.

Daily driving distances usually vary from 1h30 to 2h (50 to 60 km.), . The terrain is generally flat, with a few hills, driving in the desert is punctuated by some tremors due to the nature of the desert road, which consists of a road with many stones, as well as passing through some dry valleys with thick sand, but all this with a powerful and comfortable car that makes the journey take place in unimaginable pleasure.

- If you are coming to Mhamid by a public transportation we can pick up you until our guest house for you get a rest and we explain your about your next desert trip.
- You have dinner and spend the night at our privat confortable camp, there are all equipements beds, beautiful Moroccan furnishings and lamps tastefully arranged to enhance your enjoyment of the silence and beauty of the dunes.
The desert camp is arranged by conveniences and consists of tents on the basis of 02/03 person per
tent, provided sleeping equipment: carpet, mattress, pillows, cloths and covers, the bathroom is secluded is arranged by all necessary, electricity working by solar power.
The camel ride (1 person by camel) to join the secluded camp during approximately 1hour 30, the way
is carried out without any technical difficulty.
For your luggage, we recommend to you to avoid the bags. A flexible bag of voyages or a back bag will be
better suitable. Moreover, one small back bag is highly advised for the businesses that you preserve with you
during the day (camera, papers, money etc)

We prepare food there in the camp, usually in the manner of Moroccan cuisine, due to the distance and sometimes the lack of some vegetables, but we are doing the necessary to cook a delicious meal in the desert to suit your wishes.
So do not hesitate to tell us if you follow a diet, or if you don’t eat some meat or spices, Or if your children want something special, we are pleased to meet their request.
