Located at the end of the main street of the village of M’Hamid El Ghizlane, Dar Mhamid open its doors and invites you in a cosy, peaceful and friendly place.
A former nomad as a child, Omar settled with his family in the village of M’Hamid when life in the desert began to get really complicated due to drought and lack of water.
As with many other nomadic families, economic policies and climate change have taken their toll, hence the conversion to a tourism-based economy. After studies and a long experience on the job, where he worked in the camps and organized caravans, Omar is today happy to lead his own activity and to share his know-how and his knowledge in order to make known to you the nomadic life with its customs and traditions.
Our pecial guest house was born in 2011 from Omar’s desire.
Since then, he has continued to build this dream, continually renovating the spaces, remaining attentive to the wishes of his international clientele, paying attention to the
details that make this place so special.
